SMS Terms and Conditions

Yukio's Authentication Gateway SMS Program

Effective Date: April 26, 2026

1. Program Overview

The Yukio's Authentication Gateway SMS Program ("the Program") sends one-time verification codes and authentication messages via SMS to end users who request them. These messages enable users to prove possession of their phone number and complete secure login or identity verification on backend services that use Yukio's Authentication Gateway.

This is a transactional authentication service only. We do not send marketing messages, promotions, alerts, or any content unrelated to the authentication event the user initiated.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on user activity. Users receive one message per authentication request they initiate. Typical usage is 1–3 messages per login session. Messages are sent only in direct response to a user action (entering a phone number and clicking "Send code," "Verify," or an equivalent button). No recurring or scheduled messages are sent.

3. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS messaging rates from your mobile carrier apply to messages sent and received. Check your mobile plan for details. Yukio's Authentication Gateway does not charge any fee for SMS authentication messages, but your carrier's standard rates apply.

4. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time:

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming your opt-out. To re-enroll, reply START or YES to any previous message, or initiate a new authentication request through the service you are using.

5. Help and Support

For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us directly:

Replying HELP will return this support contact information via SMS.

6. Privacy

Your phone number is used exclusively for delivering the authentication codes you request. We do not sell, share, or use your phone number for any other purpose. See our full Privacy Policy for details on data handling, retention, and your rights.

7. Supported Carriers

Messages are delivered via Twilio's carrier network and are supported on all major US carriers, including but not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and others. Delivery is subject to carrier network availability and the terms of your mobile service agreement.

8. Limitation of Liability

Yukio's Authentication Gateway is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier network issues, device settings, or other factors outside our control. The service is provided "as is" and without warranty. SMS authentication is one component of a security architecture and should not be relied upon as the sole security measure.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at https://yukiozen.ai/terms. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
